Phoenix was appointed to carry out the CAT B fit-out for Skype at their new London headquarters.
The existing CAT A installation was stripped out to allow a new high specification CAT B fit out to be carried out on Levels 3,4 & 5.

Skype required 2 new IT rooms [MER & SER] which were electrically supported by a new UPS System complete with dedicated Input Output Switchboards.
A large circular staircase was installed linking all three floors which included feature lighting and large central pendants lights.

The existing lighting controls system was part re-used and extended to accommodate all the specialist lighting within the many meeting rooms, which all had pre-set scenes.
Small power was offered via an underfloor track system terminating in desk modules at each desk. Skype received a very good BREEAM rating.
