Phoenix were appointed to undertake the Electrical Infrastructure installation and commissioning works on the Battersea Phase 3A Project. The scheme delivered 540 new high end residential properties across three 15 storey buildings along with 44,000sq m of basement/carpark areas and 13,000 sq m of retail space. Phoenix developed the electrical design to achieve NERs compliance and completed the installation inline with our NERS accreditation. The apartment utility cupboards were prefabricated off site and delivered as a complete “plug and play” arrangement to aid the speed of installation on site. Phoenix were appointed to undertake the Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health Shell & Core installation and commissioning works on the Battersea Phase 2 Project within the Retail Areas, Food Hall, Cinemas, Events, Heritage Areas and the External / Public Realm works. Phoenix worked with the Design Team to develop the MEP design. Phoenix prefabricated the Landlord distribution services by installing multi service MEP modules. Each Retail Unit was delivered with a prefabricated mechanical PHX skid c/w Controls, Valves and Energy Meters. Phoenix were appointed to carry out the new build CAT A, Shell & Core Fit-Out for HB Reavis. Works consisted of the electrical, mechanical and public health services over 11 floors, with additional plant space on the roof and basement levels.
All co-ordinated drawings were produced on site and approval given via workshops with the professional team.
Services consisted of a new packed HV/LV system, rising busbars serving lighting and power distribution boards for the landlords and CAT A areas, fire alarm system, intruder alarm & CCTV, lighting control, BMS, back up generator serving the life safety systems, chillers & boilers serving the LTHW & CHW system via the 1st floor plantroom, AHU’s, smoke extract systems, sprinkler system and public health.
Installation of all new Ability fan coil units served by the new heating & chilled water installation, new supply air and extract air systems. Installation of public health for the WC’s on all levels
Flushing and commissioning was via new pumps. All electrical testing and commissioning was undertaken by Phoenix JIB approved operatives.

Fruit & Wool

Phoenix were appointed to undertake the full mechanical, electrical and public health shell & core installation and commissioning works on the London Fruit & Wool Exchange Project.
The scheme will deliver 320,000 sq ft of new grade A space including 260,000 sq ft of office and 40,000 sq ft of retail space. Phoenix have full coordination responsibility using Revit and design responsibility for CDP packages and as outlined within BG06.
The project is a new build with a heat load of 4000 KW and a cooling load of 3660 KW comprising of 7 gas boilers, 2 water cooled chillers and 6 cooling towers. Phoenix have also installed the following mechanical and public health systems:
- BMS system
- Action Air Smoke System
- Colt Smoke Extract System
- Sprinkler, Dry Risers, Water Mist & Foam Systems
- Landlord & Tenant Generator Flue systems and Boiler Flue System
- Thermal Insulation, Trace Heating & Leak Detection
- Riser flooring within all the risers & gantries within the plantrooms

- Full fit out of sanitaryware within the landlord toilet areas

- DX & Down Flow Units for switchroom cooling
- Durasteel ventilation for UKPN Rooms
- Water Treatment & Balancing
