I attended the MHFA two-day training course, this teaches in depth skills for providing First Aid to people who may be experiencing a wide range of Mental Health issues.

Essential skills and qualities include empathy, active listening, patience, good communication, staying calm under pressure, and knowing when and how to guide someone to professional help.
