PME were appointed to carry out the Design & installation of the Electrical Services at 245 Hammersmith Road for the client Legal & General
The development consists of 22,500m² Office accommodation spread across levels 1 to 11, 970m² Retail space with reception space and business lounge on the ground and first floor levels.
The office works consisted of Shell & Core and CAT A fit out, lighting (incl. lighting control) and mechanical power to fan coil units.
Electrical works included HV switchgear, HV distribution, package sub stations, life safety generator, tenants rising busbars, LV distribution, landlords distribution, fire alarms , voice alarms , EVC systems, Security, CCTV & Access control , lighting – including feature lighting, lighting Control and external lighting.
The installation works came with considerable coordination challenges due to the space configuration, construction detail and planning restrictions affecting plant area distribution and availability, which required lengthy coordination processes involving BIM Modelling and detailing with Lend Lease and the design team.
The project scope included extensive development and detail design of the architectural specialist lighting in the reception, business lounge, lobby and external areas.
