Phoenix ME’s Women in Phoenix (WiP) group came together at our London Head Office to mark International Women’s Day with purpose and pride. With women making up just 15% of the UK construction industry*, we remain committed to challenging that imbalance by fostering a culture where women can thrive, lead, and shape the future of our business.
The event offered a moment to reflect on the incredible progress WiP has made since its launch in 2023 — from empowering female staff to drive business success to championing innovation across teams. Members also shared ideas and helped shape the future, as we introduced key objectives for 2025. These include upskilling opportunities, career confidence-building, and expanded peer support initiatives.
An interactive online survey gave members the chance to vote on upcoming activities, talks, webinars, and our 2025 charity partner — ensuring that every voice plays a role in shaping what comes next. The session was a powerful reminder of the importance of collaboration and inclusivity in strengthening EDI both at Phoenix ME and across the wider industry. Here’s to another year of bold steps forward.
